Stopped here first on day trip of castles circuit. Impressive in size and restoration. Used as guest house during its day. Don't miss it.

The outside of this look stunning. As long as you do not get the sub-station or the radio array into your photos. This was never a castle tho. If you are into the desert castles then this is worth a quick stop. A bit short on facilities so you need to pace yourself for loo stops.

Its really a package deal with the 2 other castles. The structure itself isn't much but the presence of a fortified building in the middle of nowhere makes for an interesting photo stop

Whilst not as impressive as Qasr Amra nearby, this is a must on the Desert Castles loop. This Qasr (Place) is most likely an ex-carvanaseri on the silk route. Whilst not heavily decorated, it has bags of atmosphere
