The old Souk is beautifully restored with various sections like the vegetable section, meat section, fish section, textile section and many others things to see. It is nice to go there in the afternoon and just wander in the narrow streets, shop for souvenirs, talk to the friendly merchants and enjoy the various displays.Don't miss sitting at the local cafes...

This shopping area shows how the old Arabian market looks like. The whole area has been restored and it is divided into rows of shops and each row shows a spiciallity like Spices row, Deserts row, Fish Market square, Butcher's square, Vegetables row and square.
You can get all souvenirs from this market as well as house cloths.

This is a wonderfully restored classic Middle East market. There is none of the hawking or high pressure sales tactics of other markets in the region. It is very local, very laid back and extremely friendly with honest merchants. There is an amazing restaurant near the vegetable market that should not be missed. Row after row of small shops, and restaurants. A very traditional Souk (an Arabian shopping center). The area is covered, which would make it much more bearable in the hot weather!

One of my favorite places in Kuwait .. Various things to do , not only shopping , here you can find all food , fish & mutton market, dates , sweets , traditional tasty snacks , old coffee shops , great traditional design .. Many restaurants.

A very classic market (souq) with a lot of shops and a good place for currency exchange so you might want to make it your first stop in Kuwait.There's a parking building for the market.You will find all your needs there.Simply, it's a must visit Market!!!

very nice place to walk and enjoy in old Kuwait city. it very nice market , good price & enjoy in old arch in Kuwait. It's worth a visit compared to other sights in Kuwait.
