Beautiful place to enjoy an afternoon walk and review of exhibits. Once the sun sets, the atmosphere changes in subtle ways. Very relaxing. The cultural village offers a lot of variety - should you dine at any of the restaurants, expect to drop some coin. Personally, I don't find it over-priced for the area. Similar venues around the world would... More

Come here to have a glance of cultural stuff. Pretty interesting and neat. The amphitheater is seriously nice to visit if you've never visited the real one in Rome. Overlooking the sea and The Pearl. Plus there are some good eateries just nearby. L'wzaar is one of it.

I had to give it an average score for two reasons. the first is that it is great place to take a walk besides the beach and enjoy the traditional architecture. but on the other hand, everything there is over priced. the prices at the cafes are just crazy, so its a feeling of "you can look, but can't touch"

It is a tourist attraction with very good restaurants serving good quality food. Had Lebanese food which had a good choice for me as a vegetarian. Sat upstairs in the open area which was smoking area. No other place availbale because of the weekend.

Hy friends! When your trip will lead you in the Middle East, you have to make a stop visiting KATARA in Doha , which is the capital of QATAR, one of the most dinamic country all around the world. By all means, go to a concert, a film or even a Sotheby's auction - and then head over to a fine restaurant. I especially recommend the fish resto, where you choose your own fish and it is cooked to order. Try a local fish - like Sherri or Hamour.

Much of the dune landscape surrounding the village is still under construction, but the village itself is well worth a visit. A huge marble amphitheatre in the center, overlooking the water is stunning. The village has a festive atmosphere, lots of art exhibits, an Opera House, restaurants, interesting Arabic architecture - great to stroll through the labyrinth of streets.

Katara Cultural Village is a really good place to go, shame that it is still not finished. You can tell the government is really making an effort to make Doha a family destination. It is definitely a must go destination !!
