OK for a first visit, but a lot of walking around involved and at 41 degrees not pleasant. Worth a look but lots of better areas now being developed.

This was an eye-opener! I loved the interactive displays and fascinating glimpse of a city-in-the-making! Will definately go back!

What al ovely gallery. It is manageable and easy to navigate. Attended an exhibition which featured 150 pieces from the Louvre. The curator did a great job with his/her placement of the pieces. Lighting was superb. Highly recommended.

The latest exhibition " The birth of a Museum" is excellent, well curated, and with very good and informative blurbs around the show for the layman. Some wonderful pieces on show which are just such a delight to see "in the flesh" like Picasso's collage of Francois Gilot, and some truly stunning Persian miniatures. It is impressive how an island has been transformed into such a huge project. The museums to be built are amazing in structure and concept. I can simply say WAW!!! The hotels, schools, roads, museums, opera house,... Thumbs up!

The exhibitions are always great and informative and the Al Fanr restaurant is one of my favourite places in AD

Nice place to get away from the rest of the tourist hoards. This place will be much improved as other parts become completed. Unfortunately there were no special exhibitions on when we were there.
