Correct, this is the largest church in the world. It's abnormally huge. It lies in the middle of the empty field surrounded by iron bar fence. I guess comparison with The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Romania is in order, if you know what I mean. What's done is done though, so let's try to enjoy it. Recommended.

This is a must see if you are in Yamoussoukro. This is the most impressive site in the middle of Africa. I was fortunate enough to have enough time and visit and was in awe. Any photos do not do any justice.

The biggest church in the world lives up to the reputation. The place is just breathtaking. The glass paintings are beautiful and are larger than life. The woodwork is also excellent. Most of the guides can speak only French so if you are an English speaker then it is recommended that you request for one at the reception. The gatekeepers...
