My sister and I went to the Pyramids and we travelled around the area on horses (sickly and weak ones though). It was one of a kind experience and we really enjoyed our time there. How amazing is it that these Pyramids were built hundred of years ago, almost mathematically perfect, and still have no comparison today? More amazing is to see them in front of you, to take a camel ride around them, feel the heat of the sun, but also feel the wind that blows from the NIle, and to visit the inside... More

if you are going alone and not part of a group or a tour, choose the carousel (chariot pulled by a horse) to stay in the shades and have a relatively comfortable ride. Bargain the prices requested by guides always. Try riding the Camel for photos.

VISIT TIP: Go early to avoid the crowds and the heat. You know you have to visit here. It's spectacular!

Lots of people selling cheap souvenirs and they do hassle you a lot so be prepared. If you go to view the boat as well watch out for the 'guides' inside that will go round with you and expect a tip

One of the most fascinating places I've already seen in my life. With a camel ride or a horse riding, unforgettable.Just bargain the prices for riding!
