Apart from rhino this conservancy has EVERY animal you could hope to see, many in large numbers - over 50 giraffe seen together for example. Even better than being in the Masai Mara!
The range of wildlife was great, there were only the vehicles from our camp so no racing off to sight the animals - which is good for us, AND the animals. The scenery was totally different to our previous experience in the Maasai Mara.
very nice private game drives seeing everything while feeling like your the only guest there! I had the opportunity to have a fun tracking of a hyena, on my last morning drive, as it tracked for its meal.
Lots of wild animals, not tame like in the official Mara reserve. This was a taste of true africa from a Bygone age...
An awesome location, beautiful and serene. Lot's of animals and birds. Not crowded with other vehicles and great visitas from picnic sites and local "roads".
These new Conservancies are the way forward helping the local people and protecting the land and animals.
There were just so many animals around and the camps in the area are so well hidden that you think you are in the middle of nowhere. I think thats why the wildlife was so great.
One of Kenya's 'Conservancies' - privately owned animal sanctuaries. We spent three nights there. Saw lots of African animals and were treated extremely well by the Camp staff. We stayed in large tents: not luxurious, but very comfortable. Daily guided 'Game Drives' around the Conservancy with very knowledgeable guides.
