Thank you to Crispin our tour guide who showed us all around Bombollulo! We spent a few hours here! This centre has been built for those who are disabled, blind, deaf or learning difficulties to be able to learn craft skills and make items such as jewellery, clothing, sculptures and even wheelchairs! We met lots of the workers and they... More

We are currently working with Bombollulo who are making a range of bags and jewelery for us and so we have just returned from our second visit. This is one of the most worthwhile projects I have visited. It provides a secure and peaceful home and workplace to its unbelievable crafters who both live on the premises and come to... More

This is a project for people with disabilities. It is well known in Kenya. They produce a great range of goods and gifts for tourists as well as disability aids, all providing good employment for people with disabilities.

When you see African made stuff it is always the same. Here I found some really great different and stylish gifts at very affordable prices. Also done for a good cause as the production staff are all handicapped

A nice opportunity to visit artworkers and see their work in action. They were very friendly and inviting, and their artwork is very nice.

I liked the fact that the wonderful people making the beautiful items of art that I bought at Bombolulu proved it once more that disability is not inability. Kudos to the entire crew of Bombolulu and may our Lord bless the initiators and sponsors and even supporters of that project.

This place is worth a visit. Handicapped people work here to produce (overpriced) items (textile, jewelery etc). It appears to be unique in Kenya for adults. You can visit the workshops. They also sell seeds of various varieties of plants (outside the shop).
