Very steep and exhausting to climb, but views from here were amazing! This section of the wall is the most closest to Beijing if I'm not mistaken. There are coffee shops and a few souvenir shops at the foot of this section.

Went to this part of the wall as recommended by the tour guide, we only had limited time and was closer to Beijing and less crowded.
Was really impressed with the views, didn't disappoint and the entrance to the wall is fine, not steep climb like Mutinya. Climbing the wall itself was a bit steep but manageable and didn't take...

Ju Yong Pass or Juyongguan part of the Great Wall is not as crowded as Badaling but would really require to have a great stamina and endurance I should say. Some parts of the steps are uneven and there is no cable car that could assist you going down, but to reach one of the tower seems to be a...

On our recent trip to China, we visited the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall in Champing District.
I haven't visited the other sections of the Great Wall, but I am told that the Juyongguan Great Wall is becoming more popular, because it is very picturesque. I couldn't agree more.
The Great Wall is literally a testament to the greatness...

I haven't been to the other parts of the great wall like Badaling or Mutianyu which are more popular I suppose, so I have nothing else to compare to. Our tour guide told us that she felt the Juyongguan section gave a much prettier view so that's why we went there. Nothing to complain about this section.
Do some stretching...

The saying mentioned above has been a motivation for visitors to China. One would not realize its truth if he or she has not step upon the Great Wall! It is a touching moment as I stand on the wall - a magnificent mega structure and a wonder of the world constructed over 2000 years ago.
The journey from Beijing...

A visit to the Great Wall of China is a must when you are visiting Beijing. We went to the Juyongguan Great Wall and the experience is definitely a challenging but awesome one. The steps can be pretty steep and tiring but it gave me some sort of an overwhelming feeling to be able to step on a historical ground...
