My main destinations in Hongya Dong are Harp, Cactus and, more recently, the Japanese restaurant near them. People really go here to see the view of the river and the river boats from the top level. The restaurants serving western food, bar, and some shops on the lower floors. The cave looks gorgeous from the street, but it is surrounded by the Hong Ya Dong Shopping place. The whole place looks really nice, built in the traditional style. The only thing that lets it down is the opening onto the cave which is just...there. More

Hongyadong spans 11 levels. On a couple you can find tourist souvenirs and other small trinkets to buy. The traditional snack street has local specialties - albeit a bit pricier than you would find in the alleyways. The upper levels have am Irish bar, Tex-Mex restaurant, Subway and DQ.
