What a way to tour the cities in cool breeze while you listen to the tracks riding on the rails on the Hong Kong Island side. It's quite a leisurely experience with the slower pace tram. This is especially true during earlier afternoon when locals are not taking them to and from work. You get to explore through different districts... More

I used the tram several times during my stay in HK, travelling to and from my hotel in Wan Chai to Central. Entrance is at the rear through a tight turnstile and exit at the front. The trams were frequently crowded which I found meant it was best to gradually work towards the front to pay by Octopus Card or... More

Local people still use ding-ding to go to work but also is nice for visitors can have enjoyment to go slow along the street. Can see many buildings, shopping and can get off when you like. Its fun activity and not expensive. I suggest you try when you come to Hong Kong.

the cheapest way to get around the city, it runs between the west to the east side of the HK island, passing through many residential blocks, the financial center and some of the most well known shopping districts. If you are in a hurry wanting to get some places fast, don't think this HK$2.30 (US 0.30 cent less) fare ride will take you there... More

Ding Dind is always a fun way to ride on this old classic Deckers which is part of Hong Kong treasures that's why the price cheap and you could see the whole from the top deck just for HK 2 dollars. Can't complain much about it even the bus is running slow

I was sat downstairs by the window initially as it was a nice day, but every single window was open and it got very cold. Although the driver was very fast (alarmingly so at times) the stops are so frequent that it seems to take forever to get anywhere. Great if you're going a short distance, but if you're going... Take the tram instead of the MTR and see more of this very busy city! Take a seat on the top deck. And it's cheap too.

We took the Ding Ding Tram from Kennedy Town without any plan were to drop off. It is the best way to tour around and get to know the Hong Kong Island. The tram is quite slow but on the other side you will have more time to observe and see how the locals live their life. It is also... More
