If you are taking a trip to Bali then you must go to the Elephant Park in Taro. There are other places to see elephants in Bali, but this is the place to go. The park is beautiful, the animals are well taken care of, and the whole experience is delightful. Our guide had been with his elephant for 17... More

If you go to Bali and do not go to THIS park you will be sorry. Make sure to stay at the lodge because it is the best value. Get package that includes a few of the basics. Elephants and people there are just the best.

The elephant ride was certainly an experience. At first it was amazing to be so close to these giant magnificent creatures. The keepers are certainly rough with them. Use small pick axe like tools which they discreetly push into the elephants head. We took the 40 minute tour at $85 each. Which in Bali is alot of money, and have... More

Visited the activities website which looked very professional and via their contact us made a few queries eg time of pick up, how long is the ride on the elephant, ie how long at the park. No reply received. Emailed them again- no reply received. Read the one star reviews- Now understood! I am not intending to visit them. Please... More

Park absolutely beautifully maintained. Well cared for Elephants. Staff great. Food good in restaurant. These are rescue elephants from Sumatra. While he has done a great job rescuing elephants, I still was uneasy seeing elephants chained up. This did not sit right with me. There was no area where they were allowed to be free. Where was the enclosure where... More

I had mixed expectations going into this (it had great reviews but seeing the prices for an elephant ride, I was weary) but man it blew me away. Perhaps I'm being a little biased from the excitement of seeing my favorite so close but it made my day. Even with the most basic admissions ticket (twenty bucks) I was able... More

I'd read about the elephant park before visiting in June and decided to go there on my 50th Birthday. It was a very memorable time. The staff at the park are delightful. I went on my own and the mahout who took me on the jungle ride was brilliant. He chatted all the way and told me about his life... More

This has to be a must do in the list of things to do and see in Bali, we went on a recommendation of friends who had been here at Easter and boy were we impressed. The park is clean and looked after, the elephants looked like they were having fun, playing and running around in the water, they seemed... More
