I like the jogging track outside the stadion, covered by a lot off trees along the track. But it will be better, if cars and motorcycle are not allowed enter this area, because it is not safe for the runners. Also need more rubbish bin surounding the stadion.

It is not only a spot for doing some sport activities but also a place for seeing some exhibitions. Sometimes I am swimming at tirta loka, sadly the shower room are mostly broken, messy, and dirty altough the swimming pool quite clean.

Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) is a famous sports complex among Indonesian. I jog twice a week after office hours. The place is OK for doing sports. There is also a public aerobic class every Wed and Fri which costs you IDR 5,000 (it's damn cheap for 2 hrs body exercise) and i love it. Moreover, in Gate VII there are... More

Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is a football (soccer) stadium, named after Indonesia's 1st President (Sukarno). During his presidency, he asked Russians to help build the architecture and design of the football stadium. Gelora Bung Karno is one of the biggest football stadium in the world with the capacity of over 100.000 people inside. It is definitely big and majestic but too bad the maintenance is poor. One thing, just don't go into the restroom, it's a nightmare
