The choclate hills is bohol's greatest pride. You won't see anything like it; hundreds of hills formed perfectly and turns brown during the summer. Its best to go there during the afternoon when its not that sunny anymore because you'll be climbing the "stairway to heaven." literally. But you could always ride a motorcycle and take a shortcut. When you... More

I wouldnt go to Bohol just to see the chocolate hills, but as part of the tourist trip around seeing the old churches and Tarsiers etc it is well worth seeing . Food and other service are good and the climb up to the top of the mountain has hand rails etc , I enjoyed going there

From Alona beach it will take you 1hour and a half. 250 steps later you have a nice view on these hills. To be honest, it is nice but not breathtaking..if you have nothing to do you can go... But you just stay 10minutes take some pictures and then go. Entrance is 50pesos

The Chocolate Hills are beautiful and well worth a visit for anyone staying on Bohol, however you get so much more out of your trip if you take one of the charming motorcycle drivers up on their offers of a tour round the more rural hills away from the main torist site. Once away from all the other tourists there... More

The Chocolate Hills are a truly fascinating place. The hills look man-made, but they are definitely a work of nature. Due to high rainfall in March, the hills were green and not 'chocolate'. Driving from Alona Beach to the Chocolate Hills is interesting, as you see the hills all around you. I don't remember if there is an entrance fee,... More

These lovely green and brown cone-shaped karst hills are Bohol common landscape and you can find them all over the island - about over a thousand of them. The locals believed that there is a legend related to these hill formations.

My first time to Bohol and didn't know that to expect. 26 years of vacations to the PI and ventured south. Short flight from Manila to Cebu the 45 min on the express ferry. The chocolate hills are something to see, the park is not much more that a tourist trap. Oh well, the view is good. From ther move... More

The chocolate hills are definitely a must see attraction in Bohol. I have never seen such a wonderful array of hills oddly shaped like chocolate mounds and surrounded by lush vegetation and magnificent trees. It wasn’t colored brown at the time when we went there as it was colored green but its okay because the entire landscape and scenery looks... More

If you go to cebu, as we did, to see the hills the attraction is not worth the travel. The best and faster way to see them is to rent a bike, the Tours offered are of little interest.

We did this one-day-tour for 2 people from Cebu to Tagbilaran via "Fast-Ferry" that included a buffet lunch on a floating restaurant at the Loboc river. We got the chance to pass through the Man Made Forest. we went to The Tarsier sanctuary which had a lot of restrictions to protect them, the Blood Compact Monument wherein a new building... More
