I took my 2 kids to snow city last Saturday. It is a place for kids. They really had fun in the snow chamber and Ice Gallery. I know it is not easy to build such indoor snow centre.

Coming from a tropical country, I should be amazed but I wasn't, it felt like being inside an ice box with fake snow because it was actually ice. Ice factory would be a better description.
Nice to be here just to have a break from the heat. But pricey for what you get.
Was just in Whistler so I guess...

My kids enjoyed it and want to go back but they are 5 and 7 and have never seen snow before. There is only one big hill to go down but they do send people down fairly quickly and my kids were able to go by themselves. There are other small tunnels and slides that would keep the very young...

There's nothing to see there. Just one slope. Sliding down the slope is a good experience. Shame that cameras are not allowed. They have their own photographers and one photo costs 20 SGD. Not worth is what we felt.
Overall OK, keep in mind I was born and raised in Canada, so tubing down a 60 meter slope was the kiddy hill for us! But if you have never experienced cold and snow well worth the trip!!
Came from a tropical island, I decided to visit snowcity just to experiences the cold and the snow. I took MRT from my hotel at Geylang and arrive at the jurong station and take a walk about 10 minutes to science center first for a visit then to snowcity. I was not wearing a proper warm clothing as I read...

for those who never experience the cold of snow, it may worth a visit but I don't reckon this attraction if you come from a place where has snow! the "snow" in this place is not really snow, it's ice really!
They have the right equipment for you to rent - the proper shoes, clothes, gloves, etc.
The snow is mainly ice. I don't know how people can ski in that - perhaps they pump in 'fresh ice shavings/snow" when there are people who ski? The slide was quite fun but that's about it. It is slippery and a little dangerous...

The snow city is enjoyable especially for people who do not get to see and feel snow. It is worth the amount they charge you. They will give you warm clothing and if you need any extra clothing or stuff they will charge you for the same. See that you do not carry too much with you as the lockers...

Ok, one thing I know is managing people's expectations and people not taking everything literally. So this is not a city of snow, what it is though is a huge slope where you walk up to the top and slide down the ice / crumbed ice on a tube. An hour is long enough here. Our kids enjoyed themselves (as...
