The hike up the hill to this neighborhood was tough while we were acclimating, but it was well worth the view we were rewarded with! The bohemian neighborhood is filled with art galleries, churches, street vendors and of course Jack's place if you are looking for a traditional (non peruvian) big breakfast and sandwiches! Keep climbing up until you reach... More

We enjoyed walking around this area. But I think that it helped that we were following the walking tour information in our book, since it helped us to see areas we may have missed otherwise. It has a nice quaint feel to it when you get away from the clouds.

Great Saturday local artisan mercado. Enjoyed a couple of dinners at PacchiPapas. Many music festivals take place in front of the fountain.

Fun place to walk around and shop, have a drink and eat. They had music playing in the square that we enjoyed.

Prepare to do a lot of walking as this area is set on a very steep uphill , but if you make it to the top of the stairs the view of the city is incredible. We stopped at a little café for drinks and a bite to eat. The area looks very old and run-down, but there is nothing... More

Windy streets with a lot of shops. If you've been tramping through the mountains and your wife needs a taste of civilization, take her here to do some shopping.

This is a really romantic place. Little streets, little shops, little restaurants. It is a wonderful place to get lost and stroll around. The only one problem is the traffic. Inside this gorgeus streets circulate lots of cars. That's unbelievable. This should be banned to preserve the magic atmosphere of the place.

Just up from the Plaza de Armas in Cusco is this neighborhood of steep and narrow cobblestone street and stairways with historic stone buildings all around. Many little testile shops art museums/shops, restaurants and hostals/hotels as well as some interesting museums and historical attractions are in the picturesque neighbourhood. Well worth a half day wandering
