In November my wife and I had the pleasure of transiting through the panama canal. An outstanding experience especially when one considers it was built largely with manual labour 100 years ago. On the Panama Canal Cruise, we visited the island of Nicaragua. Our tour was the Amayo Hacienda in Nacaragua. This is a private, family owned hacienda who were both gracious and entertaining.
