I walked past this fountain during the day and if you did not know what you were looking for you would walk straight past it. Not very spectacular but it is a photo opportunity.
I don't understand why it considered to be "the symbol of Kharkov" when city has so many great places and great architecture. It is a good place to visit on your trip for the city break. It is situated near the upper end of Sumskaya street surrounded by beautiful garden. I loved to have my ice-cream there after long walk, to watch the city life around and chat with local buddies.
Maybe that is because I was with the woman I love. We had just made reservations at a wonderful restaurant, and I would be proposing the next day. So ya, I was in a wonderful mood. There was no water running, but I still enjoyed the changing light colors

Lovely at night to see the different colours light display. During the daytime , local wedding parties have their photos done here. Go on Saturdays to see the weddings , it is so interesting to see !
