I visited here in the evening and had a lovely dinner and some drinks by the water. Yes, it is a bit Disney in that it is a new souk built in a traditional style but still a pleasant place to spend and evening.

Good to have a look around and pick up a few touristy items, crockery etc. Also contains some good restaurants and bars. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Dubai.

This place is very good and I would recommend this place to anyone. Do note that parking is limited so it is a better bet to take a taxi as I waited an hour in the parking to find some without parking like a YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!. we were visiting friends in the hotel,and took a boat ride from the outside of the hotel to the souk it was very nice,so much things to buy,clothing,shoes,magnets,bags basically everything,lots of restuarants
