My preschool are kids love this place. Just enough to see with the raptors and critter house then we hike so no boredom from them. The best part is the cost and open all year.

If you are looking for nature and quiet place to walk, if you want an educational experience learning about the flora and fauna of Michigan, this is a great place. The Critter House was recently renovated and houses a variety of snakes, turtles, a giant iguana and bunny rabbits. The birds of prey are awesome and inspiring.

A disappointment while under construction. This is a fun place to visit with children, but wait a while. Good place to learn about science and nature.

we love the owls and the nature walk, just the best! plus they have a public bathroom which is really nice to have when you are outside with kids!

The birds here for rehabilitation are nice to see, but overall the location is very minimalist. Unless you are there as a schools group or children's party, the place is mostly closed to you. That said, my wife and I vista a few times a month since it's down the street.

The Leslie Science Center is quite small, but that gives it its charm. Not a good place to visit in the spring when schools are taking field trips.

If you have children and live around AA, you will probably get a few birthday party invites to this science center. They have a nice big room for hosting field-trips and birthday parties. This is a great place, we have hosted two birthday parties here and staff are greart with kids. The parties are always a great hit, with lots to see and do.
