My first impression of the Law Quadrangle was "absolutely incredible" and that it is. Not only are the grounds stunning but the buildings are a work of classic art. My favorite place is the law reading room where I often study SUPREME COURT cases. The Law Quadrangle is an awesome place and if I was a law student at U... More

A magical view. Always worth the stroll! No need to take LSAT prep to see the nicest gothic architecture this side of Gotham (just kidding on that, architectural purists). My favorite is walking through here on a foggy day. Yes, that's Sherlock Holmes studying in the Library!

The ceiling of the library is awesome and worth a visit just to see it. But this is a place where students really come to do serious work. No food or drinks are allowed, and no talking. If you want to talk, go to the Ugly, the Undergraduate Library, which is far more social but not as lovely.

walking through the law quad is not only historic but gives time for personal reflection, as the hectic campus is secluded from this space. the walkways are wide and the ivy on the buildings reminds me of harvard square.

Once you step inside the Law Quad, the hectic world seems to slip away. It is old and revered by those who are seeking a quiet place to study or just contemplate life.

The Law Quadrangle houses the very unusual expansion of the Law School library. It was built mostly underground to preserve undisturbed the old English style of the buildings that form the Quadrangle. Yet, the underground construction allows natural light to flow into the library. Walk around the main building and figure out how this is done.

This place looks like something directly out of Harry Potter! The beautiful high ceilings and old green reading lamps give this place a feeling of permanence.

although under some construction, the area is pretty. Make sure you tour the Law Library - amazing - looks like the great hall in harry Potter films

...places to lay out and read. It's beautiful in the courtyard, and I had always imagined having a wedding there, which people really do...I've been there several times as people take their wedding photos under the arch. Not a lot of foot traffic, and it's closed in by the buildings, so it's usually pretty quiet.

This has always been the place to hide away from the scurrying world of students changing classes. It resembles the British Quadrangle system of Oxford and gives the same sense of elite warmth.
