I found the tour company and the woman running the desk to be helpful and professional. My emails were answered in a timely manner and we were even able to store our luggage there (we came off the plane earlier that morning) Please note that the Magdalena Island trip is weather dependent and had been cancelled for the 2 days... The worst service ever, the woman on charge was very rude. Our tour was cancelled just 5 minutes before start (6:40 AM). Apparently because we were not enough people for the tour.

When I contacted Solo a month or so in advance about reservations they indicated that it was weather dependent and wait until we arrived.
