I may be getting old and grumpy, but this is a pretty average theme park.
My daughter and I went on a Wednesday - over 50% of the park wasn't operating. None of the more exciting rides were going, and hardly any of the live shows. The water ride where you are sprayed with high pressure fire hoses is so...

Extremely busy. We knew it was popular with the Chinese so we chose to visit midweek. Unfortunately it coincided with visits by many schools and there were literally thousands of schoolchildren there too. Perhaps its like that every day. Our children enjoyed the rides but some were out of action.Queues were as bad as Disneyland. Not very wheelchair or buggy...

Anyone visiting Shenzhen must go to Happy Valley at least once just for the experience. It's a huge area of shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and a variety of other entertainment attractions. I've never been anywhere quite like it & if you want a really wide range of bars & eateries then this is definitely the place to go.

Happy Valley is definately not a just see in Shenzhen.... The place is crowded ... too crowded for me to really enjoy the stroll through the park ... I didn't dare jump in the pool for fear of drowning under sea of swimmers... Not really worth a look but if you insist to go... it's just ok
This theme park would have been impressive in it's day. In places, it is looking a little dated/in need of some maintenance. Apart from that it has lots of fun rides and beautiful gardens in places. Unfortunately, because it was winter (although still pretty warm) the impressive-looking water park was closed. We attended the impressive magic show, which, although geared...

This was a great place to visit but I was put off by the crowds and by half the people walking around in their swimming costumes - It's no baywatch :O) An amusing part of this was the band playing whilst all the people are in the wave pool!

I am going to review an amusement park called Happy Valley in Shenzhen. The entrance fee is around 200, and it is in Nan Shan District, Shenzhen. This place includes around 100 games and a number of rides for you to enjoy. There are also many entertaining shows, and souvenir shops for you to purchase items. Happy Valley can give...
