OK if you want a break from the chaos of China. Pretty large, well maintained site to walk around. More

Just a replica of the 700's B.C born Chinese Poet's place of living. A whopping RMB60 entrance fee is outrageous for this tourist site. Skip it and spend you money wiser back home! More

What a beautiful place to beat the busy pace of the city. Find the bonzai garden and eat your packed lunch or just take a breath. A bit pricey but cop the cost and enjoy the experience. More

We were struggling to make decision whether to enter this museum due to the cost (RMB60 per person). Well, we ended-up decide to go for an exploration. Frankly speaking, I am a bit disappointed with the mesuem. Du Fu is one of the most famous poet in China but there is not so much to see inside. The main thing... More

There is a good sumary of the poet DuFu's life and samples of his poetry. I came away wanting to know more about him and his poetry. This is a great place to go for an afternoon walk. The gardens around the cottage are beautifully kept with one area of outstanding potted bonsai trees. If you like to see how... More

If you are not interested in either of these things, or have no interest in seeing another garden, then skip this. If you love quiet places with rambling paths, moon-gates, pagodas and a shrine-like museum to the great Chinese poets then yes, see this. It is, however, much like any garden from the height of Chinese Imperial design, so if... More

Pretty area, but there are parks in Chengdu that are just as pretty and don't have the admission fee. The remains of the cottage itself are underwhelming. Got to Jensha Relics Museum instead, much better. More
