Although the original site was destroyed, the current buildings were built during the Qing dynasty and has a historical feel to it. However, I was unlucky to have an unprofessional onsite guide. The guide was unable to explain clearly the historical significance of this place and was more interested in leading me to the souvenir shops. Although it was stated...

This temple is good to visit for a good knowledge of Chinese religion, culture and history. The beauty is that it is a real functioning temple, not just a tourist site. The problem with this is that the signages might not be adequate for visitors; thus, a guide is necessary for a better understanding of site. Otherwise, just enjoy the...

Found this place very relaxing. There was a festival/stage being set up at the time of our visit. The people were very friendly as we were walking around. It was very interesting place to visit.

Lots of pavilions, and such an interesting story about the 3 leaders.
I wish there had been more of the story in English though.
The emperors private garden is just lovely.

One of my newly acquaintance from ChengDu told me "please don't go to any tourist attractions that you have to pay, they are normally over-priced". I can't agree more!
Unless you are a super fans of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", where going to WuHouCi is like a pilgrimage to you. Else, paying the RMB60 is just not worth it!
