The park is full of the locals enjoying their varied hobbies and pursuits; dancing, calligraphy, diabolos, yo-yos, tai chi... some activities are noisier than others but all are fascinating. In addition we were able to sit by the river whilst learning the basics of mahjong, drinking tea and having our ears cleaned! More

Places in the heart of city, when you come in the spring time you will find a lot of beautiful flower placed by chengdu city government staff. You can sit, and waste your time there. But there is no shading tree over there. More

For my ears this is hell on earth. Big loudspeakers all around with karaoke singers jelling in microphones. I visited the park on a sunday and it was overcrowded. I read about dancing and thai chi but this was a real nightmare. More
