There is a little pool between the 1st and the 2nd beach, which is too shallow for anything but floating around with snorkels on. Lots of little fish. There are also thousands of hermit crabs under twigs on the ground around here.

This is a gorgeous white sand beach. However, it was a very long walk with steep stairs and many inclines. It took 45 minutes to walk there and about an hour back as I was then exhausted. But the beach itself is very nice and good for bird watching.
nice sandy beach with warm water. Iguanas on shore, turtles and Ray's in the water. very nice. go to the right end side of the beach and there is a better bay on the other side. only down side is the long walk to get there- 30 minutes. bring lots of water and bug repelent
Beautiful beach, fun day swimming and kayaking. Bring food and water as none available there. The walk to the beach was very nice as well
very nice beach, walking distance about 45 minutes, not very good to swinn because the current is very strong and NO LIFEGUARD
Cool place to relax. snorelling sucked though, and swimming was alright at the small beach. Can't swim at the large beach, and someone got bitten by a shark there the morning we arrived. bad luck i guess
This beach is amazing! it was definately the best beach we went to on Santa Cruz. The beach closes at 5 or 6 PM so be sure to give yourself enough time to enjoy it. We actually came back the next day because we got there too late the first day. From the entrance, its about a 20 min walk...

Amazingly special place, but you have to earn it. You walk nearly an hour from Puerto Ayora, on a paved path, then along a beautiful beach to finally arrive at the bay. There, you rent kayaks and can watch sharks, rays, turtles within reach (or even jump in and snorkel with them). Due to the walk, it's not as crowded...

This has to be the cleanest beach I have ever seen in my life. A somewhat long hot walk down a very nice path but well worth the trip. I have feed, scuba and swam with sharks but this was the first time I have ever walked with sharks in the surf-best part of my whole vacation. Grab some sandwiches...

It was beautiful. It's a long walk along a paved trail, and then you get to the bay. The views are stunning. Once you hit the beach, head to the right and continue on to a small bay that does not have the waves, is really calm and ideal for swimming.
