The cannons are impressive. The lighthouse in the fort area gives a fantastic view of the town. Some areas need to be cleaned better.

Worth a visit anytime....impressive location and the view from the ramparts are amazing, the surreal feel of the unending sea complemented by azure skies and emerald vegetation of this tropical island. Diu fort is like a trademark of diu. must visit. this was the only tourist spot in diu where we found lot of tourist. The view of jail and sea from the fort is amazing. so not to be missed.

The great creation by Portuguese ruined by ASI... Archaeological Survey of India. If you really interested in fort than visit Rajasthan. otherwise in a form of spacial invention to protect from hostile condition miles away from homeland with no drinking water.... must visit to see the courage of fighters and their den.
