Description: This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

Nice concept. Good architecture not to miss during Delhi trip. Pin drop silence in the prayer hall. Dedicated volunteers. More

Visited the Lotus temple in Apr first week as a part of a big group. The structure is amazing. Especially loved the dedication of the volunteers of the place. Inside the temple mobiles to be switched off, complete silence... Need to deposit shoes before entering the place. Reach during morning hours to avoid rush. More

Let me clarify something for everyone. As the name itself suggest this place is a house of worship for the Bahai faith. One should come here with an open mind instead of comparing it with other places which are buildings made for a different purpose (I saw a comparison to Sydney Opera House, silly). The temple is located in south... More

A beautiful sight, lovely aspect, great feeling inside, but keep in mind you walk foot naked in the temple, do not be afraid to leave the shoes,... More

Unlike most attractions I visited in India, this temple was built recently (I think in the 1980s). Built on the Bahai faith, there are people passing out flyers about the religion but not actively pushing it. They simply ask you to enter the temple and stay quite. I will admit it was impressive once I entered, but was quickly over.... More

Stunning bit of architecture, really worth a quick visit. You can't really get in (well, I suspect you have to get a lecture first) but its the outside that's amazing. No fee to get in either. More
