The view from the top was great - you really look forward to it. Apart from everything else was not upto the mark. It is a remote place , variety was really bad, place is not clean. Don't go by the website of this place as everything mentioned in the website will not be covered.

Uncharted territory with ancient cross border routes - worth bringing a good pair of trainers & binoculars - and a decent camera! This area is well out of the way and for that reason is precious and relatively undiscovered - worth the trip before it changes.

This where the maximum wind blows in Asia. the sunrise view through the Kuravan mount and the sunset through the western ghats behind the wind mills are unique for Ramakkal. The view from Ramakkal (the rock of Lord Ram) is truly magical. Weather is superb. This is a true virgin hill station of Kerala.
