About an hour from the main road between Jodhpur and Udaipur but well worth the detour. A very impressive fort. The audio guide was included in the entrance fee and was wonderful. The gift shop and the other stalls at the exit had exquisite items at a good vlue without the usual hassle of shopping in India; I wish I hadn't bought anything before; I could have done all my shopping there.
