The drive to Avalanchi is absolutely spectacular, and once you get to the lake inside the Nilgiri Ecosphere, where the lake is located, it takes your breath away.
location, and way to Upper Bhavani lake you need to pass through deep forest. if you are lucky you can sight tiger, elephant on the way.
Excellent place to visit if you are adventurous type. It takes a good amount of time to go from Ooty but the scenery and the road is just breathtaking.
