I've always enjoyed taking friends to see Kawah Ratu and Kawah Domas, but this past time besides the entrance fee of rp. 50,000 per person for my friends (i have a kitas), they tried to force us to pay another rp. 250,000 at the entrance of the path to Kawah Domas to see Kawah Domas, stating that it required a... We proceeded up the windy road and were surprised how quickly we arrived at the top. The temperature fell about 12 degrees Celsius and it was nice and chilly. As we go up the mountain we feel comfortable because of the cold wind. The view is beautiful. Asthma people are not advisable because have to walk up and down some stairs.

Came here weekdays to enjoy natural views, not many people. It takes around an hour to reach here from Dago area. Don't forget to try "jagung bakar" here.

If you have seen a volcano/crater somewhere else you need not visit. There are some others more beautiful and awesome. Entry fee is IDR50,000 per person, per car is IDR15,000. They don't tell you that to see another crater where you can bathe your feet or buy an egg to boil, you have to foot another IDR150,000 per person with... More

A 1-hour taxi ride from Bandung gets you to the border of the crater of this amazing volcano. You'll be one of the hundreds of tourists visiting it at the same time, and will be greeted by hordes of souvenir sellers and fake guides. But you only need to walk a few minutes into the hiking trails to get away... More
