Sad place to visit, as it is a cemetery honoring the UN troops killed during the Korean War. But we found it very interesting, and informational. We enjoyed walking around the site.

On one hand, this park is very beautiful. Very well taken care of and everything is very scenic. Makes for a very nice stroll around the area with a variety of things to see and learn. On the other hand, it must not be forgotten what this park represents and the names that are on the grave stones. When thought...

The worlds only cemetery designated by United Nations as sacred site.2300 UN gave up their life and rest here.
It's a beautifully designed and maintained place where one can learn a lot on history of the Korean War 1950-1953. We were invited to watch the related film first, visited the building with exhibition of the photos, letters, flag and other memorabilia and then walked in the huge park/garden among the different countries grave stones and monuments. Beautiful trees and...

This is a place that you really should take time to visit. Walk around this peaceful park and appreciate not only the sacrifice of those who are buried here but also the way in which they are remembered and honoured. The Memorial Service Hall has an informative video presentation that gives an overview of not just the Korean War but...

It was solemn and it was nice to pay tribute, although a good 30 minutes max was all it took for me to view, sit and invite with the place.
The park has been created with a lot of respect to those lives lost in the war. You will learn a little more about the Korean War and those lives lost during the years. Several monuments represent the different countries representing the UN during the Korean War. A must see in Busan.
This park/cemetery is beautifully designed and kept up. Each country has their own memorials and designed areas which I felt was fitting because each country would have their own designed headstones and statues.
I wasnt too big of a fan of the main wall of names--the middle area was barren and I thought I was supposed to see a helmet...

Of all the memorials I have visited this one is the most well kept I have had the priviliged to visit. Excellent Kiwi Memorial too although the wording is in "memory...

I went there to pay my respects. Very beautiful but definitely off the beaten path. I liked that it was near the Busan Museum. Beautifully maintained and to honor those who fought and died during the Korean War from all over the world.
