I enjoy hiking and found Busan's Geumjung Fortress to be a perfect escape from the city bustle. There are many walking paths to choose from, small ponds and forests, as well as convenient facilities like restaurants serving makguksu noodles (welcome on a humid summer day). We rode the cable car, then went for a hike (it was very easy going) to a small town on the mountain and had a feast of locally grown duck and goat. It was amazing and we really felt like we had earned the lovely meal after the stroll.
