The beach is close to town and easy to get to. If you are spending several days in Hualien and the weather is great it might be worth while. More

Long stretch of pebbly beach facing the Pacific. Lined with a well-kept bicycle trail. Very windy, few stores in the vicinity. More

One amazing thing about this beach is that the beach is not sandy but full of rocks! Something that is hardly seen but it is so spectacular. It is windy and it is a nice place to sit and chill. The waves are strong, not recommended to swim (cab driver would usually suggest not to swim as well). More

The beach is covered with sharp rocks on the shore and in the water. We call it a good luck since people has not built any resort or restaurant around and keep it as wonderful as it is until now. The ocean view, waves, sun rise view were really awesome. There is well constructed cycling tracks. Most B&B there offer cycles to residents. We love the beach stones. Works of God. The beach was super windy where we were there ~ we enjoyed standing at the beach side, savoring the moment- the wind blowing onto our faces, the sound of the big splashes of the waves and the sight of each waves hitting the rocks ~~ just wonderful :-) !! More
