Rawai is the perfect choice if you are looking for a quiet vacation spot in Phuket. It offers a chance to meet and interact with locals (and lots of expats) without the crowds of tourists you find in other areas. We visited the well known beaches and towns but were always glad to come back to Rawai. There are plenty... More

Not a great beach to be swimming at, though there are parts around from the main pier area that are fine. The seafood stall are great. More

Great sea front! It is a working beach not a tourist beach, but it has great little eateries selling the freshest seafood. More

It is very close to the hotel we stayed in, but preferred to take the scooter to Nai Harn about 10-15 min drive away. There were fishing boats and not much sand on this beach, so we did not even step foot on it, much preferred the other beaches on the island. More

Not a beach that you can swim at as it is full of long tail boats, but stunning swimming beaches only 5 minutes shuttle drive away. Sweet little place, away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect place for R & R. More

The beach itself isn't all that but there are lots of restaurants where you can sit on mats along the seafront and eat great Thai food. More

We stayed at the Evason and walked down to Rawai daily to eat at Baan Rimlay and have massages at Friend Massage. Lovely view from Baan Rimaly and Nikita's next door. More

We visited the Vijitt Resort and we just wanted some good food so we went to Rawai. The beach is not really a "lay out and relax" kind of beach. It is very pretty though. The restaurants there are pretty plain and most don't have menus in English. We ate at the tables at the side of the ocean and... More
