The Ancient city of Ephesus was very interesting for us. The excavations were eye opening. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with very good information and helped our party of 4 go through the area with ease. This place is truly amazing. The history that exists here is phenominal and it is a must see for everyone... More

Went on a rainy morning. Marble floors are slippery and difficult to walk on..was a little muddy as well. Another ancient city of ruins, but not as fascinating as Pergamon.

From Marmaris this is a long trip - annoyingly broken up by numerous stops in places in order to sell you things. Personally I'd say it's worth the trip, but if I had the choice of going here or Pamukkale I'd choose Pamukkale over this. Refreshingly this was a buggy friendly place and our tour guide from Marmaris actually knew... More

The Ancient City of Ephesus is a don't miss! It was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our guide was knowledgeable, and had a great personality. We were able to see all the highlights, while still staying within our timeline. To say we were pleasantly surprised by the ruins would be a terrible understatement. Pieces of advice: wear comfortable,... More

We recently visited this attraction and were amazed at how great it was, the guides were really friendly and helpful and there is so much to see. We went to the Huntsmans lodge for lunch in the village, again very friendly and excellent snacks. If in the area you really must see it.

I was excited to see the Ancient City of Ephesus just to be in a place that is so often discussed in the Bible. By this point on my (cruise) vacation, I had already seen a lot of ancient ruins in Rome and Athens, so my expectations were somewhat set. I was pleasantly surprised to see how relatively in-tact the... More

Downhill walk through partially reconstructed megapolis of the eastern Roman empire. Go early in the day to avoid the crowds. Try to avoid in the summer months when the temperatures can be brutal.

We arranged a full day tour through OTTI for 41 people from our cruise ship. Ephesus was the highlight of the tour. It is amazing what has been uncovered during the last 118 years and it will probably take another 100 years to finish. Highly recommend a visit.

I went along to visit this place yesterday and was struck as to how detailed the columns and stones are. Some have been preserved extremely well especially the ancient toilets. It is a long drive from Marmaris to get there but a great day out. Recommend doing this with Pamukkale as it is cheaper than doing them both individually.

We visited Ephesus this April. Really amazing place. Plan to spend 2-3 hours at least. We were lucky to get a private guide Dervish Suer (+90 543 473 8777) who made 2 hours tour entertaining and full of history, Highly recommended.
