Having family visiting us in Ras al Khaimah we decided to take them out to discover something more authentic than just the modern buildings and attractions in Dubai. It was nice for a change but the museum is not worth the trip if you don't live in the area.

This is also a really nice Museum in the small Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. It's a bit of a drive but it's a very nice day out.

It was interesting to see the Museum and its artefacts. A trip I have to recommend is to Musandam ,however be warned it is expensive!

The only place to get an overview of the rich history if Ras al Khaimah. It needs alot of work to get it to the level of the museum in Um Al Qwain but I was pleasantly surprised at the collection.
