I never expected to enjoy this lake cruise. But to my surprise, it was really something else. You can see a temple out of nowhere!!! Then we stopped at a resort, boarded our bus for a cable car ride. After the cable car ride, we were told to try this sulfur cooked eggs, (black eggs), which was basically hard boiled... More

Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains are beautiful, and from the sightseeing boat you have a lovely view. Don't get your hopes up about seeing Mt. Fuji -- it's really a luck of the draw, even in the winter (when you have the most chance of seeing it). The boat is decorated like a pirate ship, complete with pirate statues... More

If there is any cruise to ask that should be missed for tourists, it will be this Hakone Kankosen / Sightseeing ship!!! Cruising the Lake Ashinoko, and giving a 360 degree all round view of the lake waters, dun miss it!!!

This came as a great surprise, who would have thought that in this ancient area full scale replica Spanish galleons would sit on this lovely lake. Take the trip it is well worth the hour or so then head off up the cable car route to the Volcanic area and buy a pack of Black eggs, these make splendid gifts back home... More

Had a wonderful boat ride on Lake Ashi. We try to take a boat trip on every vacation we go on. This one is on our list of top 10 best boat rides. The boats are unique and fun to be on. Young kids will love this. Bring a camera and enjoy the ride. We rode to the opposite end... More

The boat ride across the lake is not to be missed. Lovely scenery, beautiful views and even a real life pirate for the kids. Thoroughly enjoyable!

the ships themselves are just beautiful, and the lake and surroundings are really spectacular with Mt. Fuji looming ahead. There are 3-4 ships, and they are all equally great. Journey is about 30 mins and well worth it.
