Really nice was to see the area, although slightly spooky if it's cloudy and you can't see the end of the rope! Stop off at the sulphur mines and check out the black eggs!

If you have Hakone Freepass, this is the 3rd ride that you have to take after the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Hakone Tozan Cable Car. Very nice view! We able to see Mt Fuji too!~

After the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Hakone Tozan CableCar, you have to take also this at Sounzan! A unique vision on the Mt. Fuji. Do the 2-days Hakone Freepass (3900 yen) from Odawara JR Station as me, and once reached the Lake Atami continue on Hakone Sightseeing Cruise till Moto Hakone-ko or Hakone-machi.

Well organised and well worth a trip to the top. Walk the remaining short distance to the top and try the black hot spring boiled eggs! Sadly, the weather was poor and we didn't see Mt Fuji. Make sure you get the Hakone pass (from Tokyo) to cover all trips

If the sky is not cloudy, you may even see the Mt. Fuji! It's neither scarily high, nor scarily fast and better still, covered by the Hakone Freepass! This was one of the main highlights of my trip to Hakone.
