Basically it's a shopping mall. If you come from Europe / America you may not find it interesting as these brick houses can be seen everywhere.

The exterior of the twin building looks very interesting, but in them, are just shopping and restaurants. The products sold in them were not really cheap, but you could find some very lovely gifts to buy and there is also a shop selling furnishing for homes. I didn't have meals there, but there are quite a number of restaurants and... More

Nice place to shop, bit of everything both western and local, would recommend trying some of the food in the eating places.

The reason we go to this area is for the iceskating rink next to the RedBrick that is open for 2-3 months during the winter. At night, large illuminations of snowflakes, shapes or words are shown on the redbrick while skating. The rink is overly (grossly) packed during the day, so an evening skating time is best. Afterwards we walk... More

That's the impression I get. Yes there's some novelty stores in there and it's extremely crowded, but unless you have something to buy as a local this might not be worth the time. Though the exterior is nice to look at and it's on the way to Yamashita Park from MM21.

I reached Red Brick Warehouse at 5-plus (which means the sky has somewhat darkened given that it was winter). It is a great place to hang out and chill - to have ice-cream (Bashamachi ice-cream is a must try) right smack in winter ... coffee ... dinner & drinks (recommended outlets are Bills and Motion Blue but did not check... Lots of shops and a few restaurants inside, great views of the bay outside. We were there around the New Year and they had the "Art Rink" set up just outside, for ice skating. It was pretty buy while we were there, but still looked like fun! Just a few minutes walk from Landmark Tower and Queen's Towers.

I'd rate this average. The building looks nice from the outside and can be seen from afar. Inside was an ordinary shopping and cafe area. It's a good stop over for cyclists travelling along the harbour area.

The Redbrick warehouse is a great place to spend an morning or afternoon in Yokohama if you enjoy shopping and eating. Built 100 years ago as a warehouse down on the port, the lovely building has been converted in an almost indoor market of shops and eateries in an industrial style decor. The warehouse has two buildings- one building is... More

Old warehouses, carefully restored and turned into a LONG series of cafes and shops. Come breathe everyone else's expelled breath. Great for the young at heart, and those who do not suffer from fear of enclosure.
