We went on a cruise on the Sumida river, while the cruise was not up to much, this place at the end was gorgeous. Its a garden off the river and very pretty. its landscaped as aremost of the parks or gardens here. Highly recommend the Sumida River cruise to Asakusa. Great, peaceful way to see Tokyo with no traffic or congestion.

Getting off the Boat from the Sumida River Cruise, you can visit Sumida Park with it's rows of Cherry Trees. Across the park is the Asahi Building and the Tokyo TV tower where at a certain time of the day, the TV tower is reflected off the gold windows of the Asahi building

The perfect cherry blossom viewing park especially in the evening with old fashioned river boats in Sumida River, lanterns above our heads and a beautifully lit Tokyo Sky Tree.
