Not disimilar to other Malaysian shopping malls but just as good. It offers everything from handbags to hairpins with all the favourites. It's excellently located and is very close to the JC Bazaar (night market) so the two come together quite well.

It's a normal mall, with food courts and shops, both Asian and western. Starbucks, The coffee bean, Baskin Robbins... A big drugstore and some stalls on the corridors.

interior looks really good after undergoing a slow and tortuous facelift. note: exterior reno is still only half-done... many new eateries with largely the same tenants from before the reno... we particularly loved the Kapitan shop selling many famed snacks from all over Malaysia... good food abound and many apparels shops...

A fav amongst Singaporeans as this huge mall is located beisde the JB-Singapore checkpoint/ JB Sentral. This mall has everything from mid-range restuarants to cinemas, from supermarkets to bookshops/ATMs. Though it isnt the biggest mall in JB its the most centrally-located. Thereis a pasar malam (or night market) at the surrounding streets during weekday evenings,

Place is under renovation and it is difficult to park there. Not a good place to browse at the moment.

I was there to catch a movie and do some CNY shopping. The place is conveniently located just next to the Immigration. It has a cineplex, and a good mix of cafes, eateries and shops. The prices of stuff there are relatively cheap. It's worth a visit to catch a movie and for the food.

JB is popular with its crime rates and better be safe than sorry. There is a lot of renovation going on inside. No supermarket opened in City Square. You can use a cab to go Jusco Tebrau, Bukit Indah or elsewhere.
