Popped over cos it was just next to my hotel (Puteri Pacific) and they were having a major festival then. Very crowded, very lively, very colourful, very exciting to watch. The temple itself is also cool as it is a functioning real place of worship used by locals, with authentic local sights (temple decor, local worshippers), sounds (prayers, chants) and... More

Very small and non-picturesque on the outside. We were lucky, though, as it was Chinese New Year, so there were many people around, and they were very helpful and willing to explain things to us. More

Temple is abit run down due to its past 100 years history. Worth a visit and be amazed by the architecture which cannot be achieve by any new age Chinese temple. One of the most unique spot to check out in JB. Brings back fond memories of visiting the temple with grand parents and the smokey temple during festive periods. More

Old Chinese Temple is really old, aged 130, built by some Chinese leaders. Now, the unique part of the temple is the oddness of the temple in the middle of the most developed area in Johor Bahru. The temple is really easy to access- Located in Trus Road, less than 5 minutes walk from City Square. The temple is small,... More
