Big signs proclaiming "Non-muslims not allowed inside". Maybe they should publish that little piece of information in their tourist guides, rather than saying you "may" have to wear a robe.

Its an interesting place but getting a good photo is very difficult from the back parking lot (front facing the water is the interesting side). If you aren't Muslim, you can't go in but you can walk around the grounds and get a few photos. There are normally a few hawkers selling some paintings, etc.

2.5 km away from Johor Bahru city center, the mosque located just beside the zoo. Built by Sultan Abu Bakar, the mosque has strong English Victoria architecture. Beside the architecture, the mosque is as ordinary as any other mosque.
