A beautiful island to wander along the beach with, The sea wasnt as blue as I thought it would be, alot of the coral that the tourists are invited to snorkel & dive to has cause quite alot of damage, though the beach is sandy you still have to be careful where you put your feet. It was meant as a busniess trip but in the end we made friends with the locals. The island is still unspoilt and worth the 45-min (per way) boat ride at the open sea! The water is so clear that you can see a school of small fishes swimming near the shore. Not many places to stay but our host... More

I had been to the Mantanani Island in Sept 2011. It is a lovely island that simply cannot be missed whenever you have a chance to visit Sabah! I will be there again and spend a night next time when I re-visit Sabah. More
