its about 1 and a half hour buy car from Sur. the road condition is good, the view is fantastic and you will be amazed when you reach the wadi and try to enter the cave its very thrilling advwenture.

I have visited Wadi Shaab at least 6 times in two years in Oman and it is always a refreshing experience. Expect a 45 minute to 1 hour climb to the top where there are safe and clear pools to swim. ** if you have water shoes, bring them! The rocks are shockingly pointy on the floor of the wadi!

Our whole family hiked and swam up to the cave at the end of the Wadi. The cave is amazing and the hike and surroundings at the Wadi are excellent. A must-do when in Oman.

The increasingly adventurous walk/clamber up the wadi, beneath the spectacular, soaring walls, is wonderfully rounded off by swimming/wading through several pools and finally negotiating the low airspace tunnel into the cave with a further waterfall. Warm water in breathtaking blues and fabulous water-worn rock. Difficult no to descend into cliches, but this really is a sensational place.
