Many people milling around and burning incense made it colorful and lively. One could just revel in the beauty of the place or dig into the history. In any case, a worthwhile place. More

This is a lovely place to visit and is so peacefull walking around the forrest of trees and seeing hundreds of budda statues nestled in niches. There are numerous areas to walk around and the Pagoda of six harmonies was impressive with its six stories. More

Large complex with much to see and do from the rock carvings in the walls to the temple itself. Just keep wandering through and enjoy the grand beauty and harmonious atmosphere More

The temple is housed in a premises that has a few attractions within. It is located towards the north west of the west lake & cabs would be able to take you there in case you are located in a different part of hangzhou. The temple is without doubt highlight of a trip to Hangzhou and is also as one of the 10 most famous Buddhist temples of China.
