Nothing fascinating but the abundance of huge trees make it a very scenic stroll. Its very relaxing and is a good way to spend some time away from the shopping malls.

I'm currently studying at Hokkaido University, and honestly, I'm pretty surprised to see that it's the number 1 thing to do in Sapporo according to tripadvisor?! I mean, it's just a university campus. It's quite green and there's a couple of parks and stuff, but if you're visiting Sapporo and want to see a nice park I'd recommend maruyama! Though,...

A green university that offers quite an european feel. It is near the JR Sapporo Station, about 10 minutes' walk.
It is so close to the train station. It took me 5 minutes to walk from the station to the campus. It is a nice campus with lots of trees, ponds, old buildings. If you want some quiet moments during your travel, the campus offers a very nice stroll. Clark's statute and his lasting words, "Boys, Be ambitious." situated at...

Hokkaido Univ. has one of the nicest campuses in Japan in my opinion. It's very big and spacious, great for walks for visitors, and its right by the Sapporo train station and a couple of subway stations. But most of the things for visitors to see is in one block of the University, and the rest really just looks like...

Ran around the campus early one morning. Nothing too endearing of this campus. However, there was some beautiful fall foilage on the trees. Other than that, it was somewhat ordinary.
This campus offers little for the eyes - no wonderful architecture or campus ambiance. While it has a museum located somewhat around a 10 minutes walk away from the main entrance, nothing else makes this campus a 'must see', unless of course you wanna get some college apparels.
well laid out ,lots to see ,information on each property written in English
This is a beautiful campus about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Definitely worth a stroll. It has a Western feel and the landscaping with tree lined walkway would certainly impress visitors. The big cafeteria is also great for a quick lunch. It could be crowded during lunch but the selection is amazing. We spent two summer afternoons there,...
